Jeremy Tan is from Singapore. He graduated from Art school in Singapore many years ago and went on to persue his Bachelors degree in filmation at the Columbia College in Hollywood. Thereafter, he attended the Academy of Arts,San Francisco for one year in Digital Animation. He lived in California for about 9 years.
He is currently based in Singapore and has been painting consistently for years. The paintings featured in this forum are the result of it.
There are more then 30 series of works to his collections. The series that are featured in this forum are listed as follows;
Archetypes, Ancientfuture, Starbuck, Circus, Mythology, Portraiture, Romance and Artifacts series. His Archetype series looked like a collection of Tarot cards. Some described these Archetypes as his past life characters. One German guy said to him that his paintings are an electromagnetic properties of his mind to relate to other entities. All these views are very enriching and had inspired him to stretch his effort to create his worlds within. A life within a life as he mentioned. Everyone can buy their prefered Tarot paintings from his collections.
His original collections of watercolor paintings are planned to be small and easy to file in his private archives. There are two sets of collections. The original drawings and watercolors paintings featured here.
The watercolor works are preliminary reference for bigger works in oils on linen, 54 inches by 71 inches. Think of them as the biggest tarot cards in the whole world! He used the Rembrandt artists oil paints on linen. His paintings are purchased by private collectors and investors alike.
The original watercolor paintings featured here are painted with Royal Talens Rembrandt watercolors on Waterford 358 gsm coldpressed paper.
